Xenia: It’s About Timê
In 2021, during the darkest days of the pandemic, Reed's Alumni Board launched the Xenia initiative to share the countless examples of Reedies’ generosity and hospitality—the Greeks termed this “xenia." The tradition has continued each January to connect members of the Reed alumni all over the world through their shared commitments to volunteerism, community service, and acts of kindness.
Alumni Xenia 2024
In January, the Alumni Board will invite you to share how you're engaging with your community. If you fill out the form provided to tell us about your recent community involvement, we will send you a Xenia T-shirt designed by Christian Selden ’24!
Once you get your T-shirt in the mail, put it on, take a selfie, and email it to alumni@reed.edu!
Throughout the campaign, we will collect your submissions and post them to a public Smugmug album to celebrate the care Reedies show for the world—and to demonstrate why the world needs more Reedies! See the album below for photos from Xenia 2024.
