Forum for Advancing Reed

Forum for Advancing Reed 2025

Join us September 19-21 for Reed’s annual Volunteer Weekend!

The 2023 and 2024 Forum for Advancing Reed events successfully experimented with a new style and approach. Great work came out of those weekends. Alumni volunteers set goals and devised projects to actively engage fellow alumni, provide support to Reed students, and contribute to advancing the college’s mission of delivering a unique but critical education to some of the world’s most bright and inquisitive students.

This year we will hear from the Office for Institutional Diversity about how the college is navigating changing headwinds, and about the SEEDS program: Students for Education, Equity, and Direct Service. We will also revisit our volunteer goals and focus on how peer to peer outreach can increase alumni engagement and foster a stronger sense of belonging in the Reed community.
