Alumni Relations & Volunteer Engagement

Forum for Advancing Reed 2024

Join us September 20-22 for Reed’s annual Volunteer Weekend! View the schedule and register below.

Last year’s Forum for Advancing Reed successfully experimented with a new style and approach. So much great work came out of that weekend. Alumni volunteers devised projects to actively engage fellow alumni, provide support to Reed students, and contribute to advancing the college’s mission of delivering a unique but critical education to some of the world’s most bright and inquisitive students.

Those ideas turned into impactful initiatives! During Reunions, we executed the idea originally titled “Pool Hall Party in Hades” as a “Pool Hall Informal” fundraiser for the Paradox student run campus cafe. Together we raised over $7,000 for the Paradox, showcasing the power of alumni collaboration. We’re also preparing to launch the Hum 110 Alumni Book Club next month which not only includes the revised syllabus, but also provides on-demand access to Hum 110 lectures for all alumni looking to re-engage with the foundation of the Reed curriculum.

This year, help us take the next step as we launch our newly updated Alumni Engagement Plan designed to be inclusive and to inspire more Reedies to volunteer.

Join fellow alumni volunteers for a weekend of strategic planning and celebration of our collective work.

Please RSVP by Sunday, September 8
