Travel Study

Travel can be a way to see more—or a way to understand more.

Reed Travel Study offers alumni, families, and friends the opportunity to explore the world through intellectually engaging, culturally grounded travel. Each program is designed to connect place, history, and contemporary life—moving beyond sightseeing to provide more context for what you’re experiencing.

Travel with a group of Reedies who value curiosity, conversation, and shared experience.

We partner with experienced travel providers and local experts to deliver well-organized, thoughtfully designed itineraries. These trips balance structured exploration with time to engage independently.

Select programs include Reed faculty, offering additional academic context and opportunities for discussion. All programs include expert guides and curated experiences that highlight the history, culture, and complexity of each destination.

These are not typical group tours. They are designed for people who want to understand what they’re seeing.

For any questions about these trips, email alumni@reed.edu.
